Are you interested in exploring and helping to design how Driverless Pod Services will play a role in our future?
Join Researchers at the Centre for Transport & Society at UWE Bristol and ESP Group on Saturday the 10th March, 10:00am –4.00pm at the Armada House in central Bristol, where their technical team are holding a hands-on interactive day.
Researchers at the Centre for Transport & Society at UWE Bristol and ESP Group are hoping to gather public opinions on driverless shuttles or ‘pods’ (also known as autonomous vehicles). The study is part of the CAPRI project (Connected & Autonomous Pods on-Road Implementation), a multi-partner collaboration including the Bristol Robotics Laboratory.
They want to involve people of all backgrounds, genders and ages in informal conversations on driverless pods. The workshop will be a creative, hands-on experience where participants will help design how this technology could be used in the future. There is no need to have any prior knowledge or qualifications to take part.
Members of their research team will facilitate the day and will be on hand to supporting individuals to share their thoughts, views and ideas. Breakfast, lunch and refreshments will be provided, as well as a £20 shopping voucher to thank you for full participation.
A summary of the research project will be given at the start of the workshop.
The venue is wheel-chair accessible.
