Bristol offers everything we need to continually grow our business. We were impressed by the incredible number of Bristol start-up’s intent on disrupting markets. We want to build partnerships with those businesses and the city’s wealth of established businesses to grow their online revenue and capabilities for years to come. As a result, mtc. have expanded their area of expertise to the South West, opening an office in central Bristol where they intend to create a team of 20 employees focusing on web design and development, digital marketing and bespoke tech solutions.

Bristol was the perfect location for the company’s expansion into the South West due to the talent pool being second to none. mtc. will be investing in the local community and economy to provide new employment opportunities for those who are already skilled up, along with mentoring for those who are yet to enter the job market via partnerships with Bristol’s universities and colleges.  The good transport links and infrastructure to other UK and European offices was also massively appealing.

The decision to open a physical office despite the pandemic was because of the company’s well known ambitious nature and our culture of continual growth. In our case the pandemic has presented growth opportunities due to the UK’s larger than ever reliance on digital revenue generation.

Euan Johnstone, Creative Director at mtc. is thankful for the help offered by Invest Bristol and Bath…  “The team at Invest Bristol & Bath were a great support to mtc.’s expansion into Bristol. As our investment started mid-way through the pandemic with rules differing from Scotland and England, they kept us informed locally and worked closely with us to establish strong ecosystem links. Since landing, they’ve continued to work closely with our team on the ground and supported us in creating strong links with the local universities and local associations to support our future growth.”
