UK REiiF 2024 sets new benchmarks for success
The 2024 UK Real Estate Investment and Infrastructure Forum (UK REiiF) proved to be the most successful yet, offering an unparalleled platform for networking, idea exchange, potential collaborations, and showcasing the West of England's vast opportunities.
Over the three-day event, more than 13,000 delegates, including many international visitors, gathered in Leeds. Colleagues from Invest Bristol & Bath and across the West of England Combined Authority were in attendance at the UK's largest real estate and investment forum. This year's focus was on sustainability and growth, highlighting the region's advancements in renewable energy and innovation. The event was packed with insightful talks, presentations, and panel discussions featuring industry leaders such as Stephen Bashford, Rachel Musson, Roger Hoare, and Justin Olosunde.
A well-attended breakfast session on Wednesday morning delved into the Bristol Temple Quarter Regeneration project and its regional impact. The day concluded with an evening networking reception, sponsored by Bristol Airport. Attendees included prominent figures such as Ant Merritt, Valentina De Micheli, Jane Wright, Richard Ennis, Rachel Musson, Stephen Bashford, Justin Olosunde, Roger Hoare, David Gibson, and Karen Mercer.
The Department for Business and Trade facilitated a delegation from Asia, as well as a group from Iceland who sought to establish business relationships and connect with interested parties. Last year, the UK REiiF team visited the New York City Economic Development Corporation, who reciprocated by attending UK REiiF 2024 to strengthen ties with UK-based organizations. The forum attracted a diverse array of investors from Europe, Asia, and the US.
