Life Sciences case study: Ferryx

Pioneering the next-generation probiotics for gut health
Ferryx specialises in developing advanced probiotics tailored to support gut health, particularly in scenarios where conventional probiotics fail. Rooted in science and protected by granted patents, Ferryx’s products deliver life-changing results for individuals managing chronic gut health conditions.
What sets Ferryx apart is its unique ability to address gut health flare-ups, including those triggered by conditions like irritable bowel syndrome or stress. This innovative approach positions Ferryx as the sole provider of probiotics effective during these critical moments, offering a clear advantage over conventional alternatives.

Support in the region
As a University of Bristol spin-out, Ferryx has benefited greatly from the university’s support. Additionally, strong ties with the University of the West of England, facilitated by their office location at Future Space, have provided Ferryx with access to student talent on multiple occasions, with successful outcomes. Future Space also offers a robust support network, including advisory services in legal, marketing, and accountancy. These resources have been invaluable to Ferryx as a small business, enabling the team to focus on growth while benefiting from pro-bono assistance.
