Invest Bristol & Bath highlights regional innovation at Bath Digital Festival

Bath Digital Festival once again showcased the region’s thriving innovation ecosystem, bringing together businesses, universities, and public sector partners from across the West of England. With a strong focus on technology, creativity, and forward-thinking solutions, the festival featured a vibrant programme of interactive workshops, engaging panel discussions, and daily technology showcases.

Each day of the festival focused on a key theme: Space, Sustainability, and Being (AI and Health Tech). The Invest Bristol & Bath (IBB) team actively participated throughout, attending events across all three days and hosting a dedicated stand during the Space Day on behalf of Space West and the South West Space Partnership.

The IBB team used the opportunity to highlight the significant space sector activity taking place across the region. As a government-recognised Space Cluster, Space West is focused on accelerating growth and innovation within the regional and national space industry.

The Space West programme is hosted by the National Composites Centre, in partnership with the West of England Mayoral Combined Authority, the Centre for Modelling and Simulation, the University of Bath, the University of Bristol, and the University of the West of England. Backed by industry leaders, the cluster is driving forward an ambitious regional space strategy.

The team were proud to represent the region at such a dynamic and inspiring festival, reinforcing the West of England’s position as a hub for innovation, collaboration, and high-growth technology sectors.
